Construction Silicone Sealant are typically supplied as one-part systems that range in viscosity from self-leveling liquids to non-slumping pastes. They represent a unique combination of organic and inorganic chemistries to give some of the most stable organic-like materials exhibiting excellent chemical structure and the inherent properties

Construction Silicone Sealant have a high degree offlexibility and very high temperature resistance (up to 600°F), when compared to other adhesives.

Construction Silicone Sealant are available in one-component RTV (RoomTemperature Vulcanizing) products or two-component addition or condensation curing systems

Moisture curing RTV silicones typically rely on chemical reactions with water. These materials crosslink at room temperature by reacting with ambient moisture (expressed as the relative humidity), and it is also absorbed on the surface. The cure rate depends on the relative humidity and temperature of the environment. In cold temperatures (below 10°C) moisture levels in the atmosphere drop significantly

Silicone adhesives and silicone sealants cure relatively rapidly, typically developing skin within minutes,becoming tack-free within minutes to hours and curing to an elastic rubber in approximately 24 hours. Due to the very nature of being a one-part it is impossible to get a speed deep section through cure because the system has to react with the air therefore curing from the top down.

Use Restriction:

• 1.It can not be used as structual adhesive
• 2.Not suitable on the material which seep grease, plasticizing agent or solvent, such as the surface of oil-impregnated wood
• 3.It's not suitable on non-ventilated places, as silicone sealant requires absorbing moisture in air for curing
• 4.It's not suitable for continuous soggy places or wet places all the year round
• 5.It's not suitable for using when the temperature on the material surface is lower than 4℃ or higher than 40℃

Tranportation&Storage:

JS-208 is not a flammable and explosive material,so it can be transported as a normal non-hazardous product,it shall be stored in a dry,cool and well-ventilated plaoe below 27 degrees,as of production date,the storage period is 24 months.

Storage Condition:

• Under 27 ℃ cool dry and well ventilated place, avoid high temperature
• Shelf life: 12 month stored in cool and dry place. (+7 ℃-27 ℃)
